As a portal for online security tools we understand that our Privacy Policy is an integral part of your own corporate security program. Some of our tools operate on your own data that you upload. For example, FirewallCAT performs analysis on your firewall configuration file and this process takes place on our servers hosted at our data center.For the purpose of this Privacy Policy we define Confidential Data as any data that you provide as part of doing analysis with the tools. What This Privacy Policy CoversThis Privacy Policy covers the following categories of information:Confidential DataAny data that you upload, enter, or otherwise provide to our tools as part of the tool processing algorithms. Registration InformationAs part of registering for Jetmetric, whether a free or paid version, we do collect some personal information as part of the registration process. Paid users also provide credit card information. How We Use Your InformationWe use the information you provide about yourself when registering only to complete the registration process. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. As a registered user we may use your information for communication or internal Jetmetric marketing purposes, such as to contact you about system maintenance windows or to provide an update about a new tool that has been added to the suite.We use your Confidential Data only to perform the analysis which is provided by each tool. This information is not shared. Furthermore, we do not store your Confidential Data on our servers for longer than required to perform the analysis and provide the results. Any temporary files used for the analysis are stored on an encrypted hard drive. We do however, maintain some anonymous statistics about the data we analyze. This is used for the purpose of providing our customers some relative context to the analysis. For example, we may maintain a counter that logs the number of firewalls that have egress filtering enabled. However, this data is anonymous (i.e. not associated with any account, IP address, etc.) and purely used for statistical purposes. In addition, we may also post an update notification to our homepage or send out a customer notification email.Privacy Policy Naming ConventionsThis Privacy Policy uses the version control naming scheme that includes the year, month and day, followed by a letter A, B, C, as follows: YYYYMMDD-{A|B|C...}. Any time we update the policy we will specify the version by date.
